It’s a challenging and hugely exciting time to be working in hospitality marketing. The worlds of traditional marketing, public relations, interactive and social media are merging in new, industry-altering ways every day.

I want this blog to be a trusted and genuine hospitality marketing resource—a place for conversations that matter.

My hope is that you will come here frequently to pick up an idea or two, get motivated, and add your own thoughts and experiences to the conversation.

We have much to discuss too.

In the short term, it’s time to plan for next year. In the mid to long-term however, there is no telling what we’ll be taking about [unless one of us is psychic]. Something unexpected no doubt—shifts in social media, new technology, economic issues, geo-politics, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Whatever the challenge, my goal is to focus our conversations on the ideas, advice and expertise that will help get us on the right path as quickly as possible—and continue to make us all better marketers.
